Smokin' Joe Frazier
As you probably know, Joe Frazier, the former heavyweight champ, died last night. Back in the day, in 1996 or 1997, I went out to Philadelphia to do a story on Frazier. I really liked Frazier—he was a prince of a man—so I thought I'd share the story I wrote: Still Swinging.

I remember hearing you talk about interviewing Joe Frazier right after you came back from Philadelphia, but I hadn't read your story. Never thought I'd stick with a four-page story on boxing, but you sure can tell a story and paint a picture with your words. Nice work.
